Driving
Take Hwy 13 to the Lincoln Ave. exit, and turn west on Lincoln. We are located on the grounds of the Oakland LDS Temple and Interstake Center. Free parking is available in our parking lot. The FHC is on the lower level of the Temple Visitors Center, a separate building on the opposite side of the parking lot from the Interstake Center. Once you enter the building, there is an elevator available for those who do not wish to use the stairs.

Public Transportation
AC Transit has restored bus service to the Oakland Temple grounds. The #53 bus runs every half hour from 5 a.m. to 9:15 p.m., seven days a week. It leaves the Fruitvale BART station and terminates at the small shopping center just beyond the Highway 13 overpass, stopping in front of the temple grounds in route. The bus follows the same route back to Fruitvale BART, picking up passengers across the road from the temple grounds. Each trip takes approximately twenty minutes.
Riders should be cautioned that there are two 53 lines. The one which travels up Lincoln leaves Fruitvale BART a quarter to the hour and a quarter after the hour. It is best to check with the bus driver to ensure that the proper line is being boarded.
In San Francisco, the NL line can be taken from the Transbay Terminal to Fruitvale and MacArthur where passengers can transfer to the 53 line.
